Hello all,
Having been somehow "productive" as of late I hereby present You with more models in my "Vipers at War" collection.
Those models below are both Hasegawa 1/72 F-16 kits with decals from Two Bobs, Fox One, DACO / Astra as well as aircraft specific markings from the Hase-boxes, Academy as well as Revell. AIFF-antennas are scratch-build.
The first CO Viper is 87-0241 as part of AEF 9/10 (Cycle 6) rotation (October – December 2007).
87-0241 is shown precisely as she flew on Dec. 5th 2007 where GBU-31s were carreid instead of the usual mix of GBU-12/-38s.
I have tried to show the impressive "war tally" of markings still carried by -0241 even today!!
Enjoy,
Henrik. |

Next up is 87-0254 from "Operation Iraqi Freedom" in 2003 flyng out of Azraq AB, Jordan as part of a combined ANG / AFRC package comprising F-16 aircraft from the AL and CO ANG units as well as the AFRC units from Hill AFB, UT, NAS Ft. Worth JRB, TX and Homestead ARB, FL.
87-0254 is shown here with the massive GBU-24 laser-guided bombs as well as the "usual" array of AIM-9 / -120s and an ALQ-131 on the center line.
Enjoy,
Henrik. |

- thanks buddy!! I believe it is the only - or at least one of a very few - Vipers to have been in all major US conflicts from "Desert Storm" and up.
Greetings,
Henrik. |

| Nice model. It shows the amount of time you will spend making the model I must say that this is one of the best models that I have seen in a long time. I would recommend this plane to anybody.A beautiful model that is closer to the real thing than any of the other models in the market. |
