Hope this is not off-topic [Link pending approval] got any good guesses about what this is?
There's an identical one on the other side of the tail too.
Thanks. |

That grey spot: that's where the Israeli's installed a black knob (like those two on the A-10 warthogs nose). Also installed on the airintake bulge near the anti-collision lights. It's part of the RWR system I believe. Can't give you any details at this moment.
Look also at the following picture. Right-click, save and take a look because it's a large picture. |

| Wait, I'm confused, does the Hellenic F-16 also have the black bulges or is that picture misleading? |

| The pic is misleading. The lumps'n'bumps are unique to the Israeli bird. The Hellenic birds are relatively clean. |

| That's right, I made that picture for someone who was making a Israeli skin for Falcon 4. Used the Greek drawing to save time... sorry for the confusion.. |

JanHas,
very nice (if not rare) walkaround photos of the F-16I! Care to share more with us, if there is any?
thanks, |

If the topic of F-16I pictures has been brought up already, here are some new pictures I found today in the "uploaded photos" section (note the tail numbers, those are brand new planes still in Edwards).

Thanks for the photo, DeepSpace. But, those walkaround photos, JanHas used, are not commonly seen, as compare to the photos showing the whole aircraft.

JanHas, I believe it is more than a RWR system. I hope this is de-classified information as it is widely advocate on the internet. Try seaching for the PAWS-2 employed on the F-16I.
cheers, |
