Someone told me it was 5'10, but I'm not sure if that's right or not.

Thanks for your reply, after some research and reading that topic, I've found that the maximum height is around 6'3", which is good for me because I shouldn't grow any taller than 6'1" - 6'2". Smile

I'm about 6'4" and have been flying viers for 22 years. Not much room, and need to take the JHMCS DU off for BFM in a D Model. The limeit for USAF is sitting height-39" to get into pilot training.

Danm ... I bet you get mad when someone leaves the seat all the way up. Laughing

From the "old" days, applicants to the RNoAF had to be minimum 163cm but maximum 193cm to qualify for pilot evaluation.
Below or above - forget it.

Sorry, don't have the comparison in feet or inches.

I met an ALANG F-16 pilot a couple of years ago who was leaving the Viper because he was too tall.

I recall he was in the region of 6' 5" and he had made the decision to move because a friend of his had lost his kneecaps ejecting from a Viper - his friend was the same height as him. He eventually converted to an ISR platform.

I think you can plan on being about a half inch shorter after flying it for a year or so.
