Hi all. I'm a Flight sim geek, with a pretty cool F-16 model. Just trying to get some info to make the flight dynamics up to speed. What I'm looking for [Link pending approval]
  • Centerline tank - dry weight (and it is a 300 gall tank correct?)
  • Wing tanks - dry weight, and amount of fuel it [Link pending approval]
  • The internal tank(s): how many tanks and amount of fuel each holds.
Have looked around quite a bit, but can't find anything that breaks it down.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure this info is in another thread, I remember looking up the info. Search the archives on 300, 370, etc.

I did a search on the boards here. OK I asked one question I had the answer to. 1050 gal internal, but none of the the threads mention dry weight of the drop tanks, none mention how many internal tanks there are,

And for wing tanks, which is it 600 gals or 300 Seen both [Link pending approval] maybe the question should be which is the more [Link pending approval]

OK here are the weights of the external tanks. Ctr line tank holds 300gals (2000lbs) the tank empty if I remember right is approx 500 lbs . The external wings (the 370 gal ones) hold apprx 2500lbs of fuel each and weigh empty apprx with pylon attached close to 700lbs.

Hope this helps. Remember if it rolls, turns, banks, and burns crew dawgs made it happen.

370 gal wing tanks are more common - 600 gal tanks are used by only a few export customers, Israel, UAE included.
