Hi guys,
I've just spent two days out with my camera at the 'Heath' in a mix bag of weather. Thought someone may be interested in the results.
Finally, is this standard procedure; she was back-tracking the runway for departure.... kinda has going through my head "left a bit, right a bit...."

Does Lakenheath have narrow taxiways? The bottom KC-10 is taxiing with the right side entry hatch open. Looks like the Boomer is looking down, and monitoring the clearances. It also looks like the #1 engine is hanging over the grass.
We do this sometimes...taxiing with the troop doors open, for the same reason.
Nice pics boff! It's been quite awhile since I've seen Light Gray Eagles flying. Hopefully, I'll remedy that here in a couple of weeks. |

Thanks TC,
He's actually backtracking the runway; he avoided the taxiways and was parked on what remains of the cross runway.

| Dumb question, but what are the little overhangs on the tailfins of the Eagle? |
