| I think it's beauty in all things. It just has that perfect body to it, along with it's aerodynamical efficiency. |

| It's good as a combat aircraft, but I think the Mig-29 is a lot sexier than the F-16. |

When I was going through the "I" course in Arizona in the 80's, I remember having a few beers with some A-10 drivers at the D-M club and one of them saying:
“Oh, you fly the “$ex machine” over at the Guard huh?”
Nobody anywhere has built anything better looking since.
(with the possible exception of Malin Akerman's parents)
From the cockpit point of view, however, the sexiest looking airplane is always whatever you can get under the pipper. That would, of course, include the MiG-29 or Su-27.

| F-16 forever! There never was and never will be a sexiest (and most useful) fighter jet. Whoever even thinks of any other jet (and commits the sin to mention it here) is a heretic! |

The F-16 is pure beauty like i mentioned.
I know, the fuel tanker option was a little perverted but it's so true. |

F-16s are terrific and this is a great forum as well!
However, you can NOT just ultimately declare it as the sexiest aircraft to date. It is all a matter of opinion and classifications.
For examples:
Always loved the clean, rounded lines of the Albatros series from WWI since I was a little kid.
Dad used to work on A-26 Invaders and F-86 Sabres- how can I NOT think they are both right at the top?
A-4s and F-5s... sexy, aggressive birds that are drop dead gorgeous!
S & M stuff- not American, but are hot in their own special ways.
I could keep on going, but I'm sure my point can be understood.
On a final note:
I love to see Aggressor/Adversary types the most(if I can't see what they simulate, that is), it makes me happy to see the 64th with their Vipers and the 65th with their Eagles- all of the others out there just add more icing to that big blue cake called the sky. |

Old school 50's style, baby... Try the XF-108!
And despite sexy, that design could have been the F-105, the FB-111, the F-15 A/B/C/D/ and E and furthermore, a crazy combo Tornado/Mig-31 capability flown in modern day even, something the West has never flown (perhaps save the F-15SG and F-22 for US).
Wow, sounds like an F-16AT/XL design capability come to think of it! (although I'd still have to give sexy points to the XF-108) |

Darn it Stoli- you forget the 18 Aggressors. Its the only squadron with the unique Arctic paint scheme. Remember there are now the 3 Aggressor squadrons and the 18th flew against the MKI's first, to prep them for Red Flag.
(from Fencecheck)
Um A-26's....Okay,if you say so.
(from Wikipedia)
A-4's? The M's with the Igor, hunch back look to them? Okay, if you say so.
(from Globalsecurity)
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.
But Damn sexy is the Viper!

double pickle. Evidently not as easy as it looks to get images to show up correctly. |
