| Thanks TJ for looking, too bad it isn't 408 as that is one rare airframe! Great to see any of these 26th AS diverts. |

TJ! On page one of this thread is the pictures I took at Kadena showing the Kunsan jets and the aggressor jet in the same line up as your photo. And yes I believe it was October of 89 as well. What did you do at Kadena? |

| Siesta I was one of those lucky few that was supposed to be in the 26th aggr. Then when they cancelled us in Dec 89. I then went down to the 12th FS to crew a F-15. |

TJ,
I was assigned to the 961AWACS and later on with the 18OSS. I knew a crew cheif - Bob Dedmon - think he was 44th and ironically enough when I moved back to Florida I live near Daryl Walters think he was in the 12th but not sure- he crewed the D model that "Exxon" Valdez and the 18WG Vice Commander over-Gd. |

Greetings all,
Actually I was in the 67th, the only time I crewed a tub was in '96 and it was 571. AeroMaster did a decal sheet of this and 3 other jets of the 18th a while back. I found this site doing a search on [Link pending approval] looking for my name.

Found this in the uploads section this morning:
USAF F-16C block 30 #88-0410 is painted in the colors of the 26th AS when parked on the tarmac at Eglin AFB on March 11th, 1990. However, the unit was deactivated before it received any F-16s and therefore no tail markings were ever applied.
Notice the date - November 3rd 1990 wich coincide well with the previous mentioned time span |

Hi Niels,
Great photo!! And interesting as well as 88-0410 never reached the 26th AS!! It was shortly after repainted in the "normal" F-16 colors and transferred to the 56th TTW at MacDill AFB, FL.
Greetings,
Henrik. |

This just popped up under new pics;
Crew group shot from the 26th Aggressor Squadron which never did in the end activate with the F-16. The F-16 is a C-model serial #88-0403. This photo would be from the summer of 1990. |

Outstanding!
I always loved that tan/brown/green(Flogger?) paint job. The only aggressor F-16 I've seen in person was at Pease AFB (NH) in 1990. It was marked with a red 10 only- I wonder if that is the same one???
Too bad my old pics were from a cheap camera, as it flew a demo and was parked near the Blue Angels at somewhat of a distance. |

I guess you saw Agressor Vipers from the 414CTS - they have always flown Block 32's.
26AS only flew Block 30's, and never in CONUS other than the ferry flight to Kadena. From what I understand, the 26AS Vipers didn`t even reach Clark AB, Ph. but where at Kadena during its very short Viper period. |

I had almost forgotten about that Fulcrum paint job some of the original aggressor Vipers had! Gotta love those Vipers that are dressed to kill, eh? |

| That picture was taken around Oct/Nov 89 we closed down in Jan 90. Most of the guys were either gone by the summer to other bases or working transient alert or F-15's. |
