The WOW is what I mentioned from the get-go. He may have been trying to dearm the seat, but that is a big diff from throwing the gear handle up. Maybe he doesn't read english?

Correct! If my memory seves me right, the Dearm handle needed to be pulled out and rotated to either postion. Certainly a far cry from rolling the gear handle up or down. But who really knows, After all the gentleman was obviouslly not familiar with the layout of the cockpit.
