Zdrasti, Georgi...

Plovdiv? I actually have a good mate, Niko, currently working as software dev in BG - a former business partner in my town here.

BTW, offtopic, but I encourage you guys to generate more energy, for self-sufficiency (and added export), via Wind-turbine and geo-thermal. I think you have a good potential resource there, imo (and investment potential), and my cheers for Bg~

Greetings Airfan,
I was in Plovdiv in September/October 2006 for maintenance support of the F-16 air demo at the airshow. I had a great time in Plovdiv. People were great, food was excellent, and of course the beer was very refreshing. The crowds at the airshow were very enthusiatic towards the Viper and the Gripen demos. Was hoping to see Bulgaria buy some F-16's so I could get a chance to visit your country again.
Good luck with your spotting.

I had a great time watching your jet and taking really cool pictures. Moreover, today my ears still jingle from the vibrating sound of the afterburner of Mako's F-16. The rumors said that we are getting a squadron of F-16 for no money, but the government has to pay for the overhaul and upgrades. But who knows... it is just a rumor for now...

Bulgaria deserves the free overhaul and upgrade too, imho. Smile

Respects for BG's peace-keeping efforts and ultimate sacrifices of past, to cover EU/NATO's and US's back (regardless of the different politics). BG is a leader among Balkans, today and the future...

Uhhmm... I prefer brand new Super Hornet Embarassed but Block 52 will do the trick too.

We are always doing sacrifices for nothing... anyway. Cool
