Finally got my 1/48th Scale Tamiya Block 25/32 kit with the Aires cockpit, and I'm having issues with getting the cockpit to fit properly. It almost seems as if the cockpit sits too far back on the model. Is anyone familiar with this cockpit on this kit? Also I believe the CJ cockpit they make is identical minus a few small details, but similar glareshield/cockpit floor, so should be about the same.

Yeah, like I've said before, you have to fit them up yoruself. Every resin cockpit is going to need fitting, even those designed for certain kits.

Guess more sanding and fitting! It just seemed like the one I had was wider and shorter, but we'll see.

Oh yeah. I've even used the same cockpit on the same kit, and had to fit it in differently on every one. Like I've done the Hase F-16B, and used the BB cockpits. Each cockpit has different cuts, sands and gluing points. It's weird, but it's the way it works.
