| Trying to find any of the crew chiefs from the 17th from 1987 through 1991. I keep in contact with John Ablang and Frank King and I know where a few others might be. Any responses would be cool. |

| I was there from 89-93 and knew Frank well. We used to fish together. I crewed 84-1378 and then went into the truck until I left for the Kun. Send me a pm and let me know who you are. |

I was a "Hooter" - 17th Phase in 1987 then to the Amu in 1988. DCC for 84-1217 from 1988 till deployed for D.S. I remember 84-1378 during the war, but cant remember the DCC name
Stayed in the Hooters (later reorged to the 77th) till 1998.
I'm Rick Davis, Jon Ablang was my assistant for several years - lost touch with him after he pcs'd.
Lets see - Vick McKinney, Vernon Suzuki, Mark Hanes were some with us. Joe Shade was one of the expeditors. Mason was one of the P-1's. OMG, that batch of guys/gals we had during that time period - seems like so long ago - and looking back was the best time of my career.
Dave Walls was back at Shaw when I PCS's in 2002, Curtis Helms is still there.
Have Jon pm me. |

Hey all you old Hooters,
I'm sorry that I have not replied to anyone since I made this post since last Nov. Things have been so busy that I have not had the time. I ran into Jon Ablang in February at Nellis. He will be hangin' it up in Dec.
I also ran into Col. Billy Diehl in April at the Eglin Air Show. He is retired and works for Lockheed Martin. He is involved with the F-35 program. He is in F-35 Customer Engagement. He can be reached at [Link pending approval](at)[Link pending approval] Well gotta go for now. Enjoy your time it goes by fast. |

| I was in the 17th at the end of 91 and during the conversion to the 77th till 94. Damn gets hard to remember folks after so many beers and years. I was ACC for 90-0748 till the conversion to block 50's and got the bus 91-0841. Worked with King as my DCC. Talk about a party group.... that had to be the tightest knit group and hardest partying squadron I was ever in. Hung with Jody Strausser in Korea after Shaw I still keep contact with Blaine Estridge, weapons toad. Lost track of Tony King thought I understand he's SC gurad now. |

Awww, he must have be referring to our nice painted white rocks!
Well you know we did have the head plantation keeper at the time.... hehe.
I do believe he was already at Shaw when they re-orged from the Army Air Corps to the USAF. |
