I'm about to graduate college this summer majoring in Graphic Design at California State University of Fullerton.

I've come to decide that I want to be a Fighter Pilot. Is it too late for me?

Most people I meet are surprised by my age because I look younger than my actual age. Many think I'm in my early to mid 20's.

Yes, I've searched and the results were not clear. The Air Force website says [Link pending approval] yrs. old, but I also saw 35 yrs. old as being the maximum on this forum.

I really want to do this. Please let me know.

Thank you.

You would have to start pilot training by the day of your 30th birthday. You can always go to the officer recruiter in Long Beach or Santa Monica to request a waiver, but it is a long shot. Give it a try though.

You need to apply to UPT by your 27th birthday because of the long process it takes for them to get you to training, hence the 30th birthday to start training SnakeHandler mentioned. I'm 26 now...one recruiter says it's too late for me, another says I still have a shot although I need to hurry up. Like others have said, try to request a waiver. It doesn't hurt to try...you'll never know unless you do. The worst they can say is no, but if you don't try then it's a guaranteed no.

thanks for the replies. I have searched the forum and I have read that the recruiter are not always the best place to ask to become a pilot. Who else can I contact?
