Hi folks!
Latest from this side of the Atlantic. Probably the last one for a while too, as the Mrs, the kids and I are moving to a new house in a few weeks.
CCIP, Sniper and GBU-38 from Shull24, decals from Afterburner Decals, CVER and AIM-9X from Hasegawa F/A-18 kit. AIM-120C from Revell, "seamless" intake from Meteor.
Hope the photos come out OK, just got a brand new Kodak M873 that I am getting familiar with .
Hope you like it - comments are welcome ! |

It might interest you to know that 91-0464 (also known as "Poor Sick Whore") was originally assigned to the 23d FS, but it went to the 22nd after we lost 90-0829 on Friday the 13th of January 1995. We needed another station wagon and the 23rd carefully chose 464 to replace it. That jet was a maintenance pig, hence the nickname "Poor Sick Whore".
I was in the 22nd from 1994-1996. Great job on the model.
Best Regards, |

I am sorry to say that I was not the one to come up with that nickname! The first time I heard it I almost fell out of the Expediter truck.

| I may be trippin, but long canopy Vipers have a certain look to them. I'm starting to like the big spines too. ANy models with that, like Isreali Blk 50 or UAE Blk 60? |

| That model looks sweet. I crewed that jet for two years, it didn't break as often as people though. Does it still have the lightning strike scar on the radome still? |

Post back from the dead,
Not that it matters... 829 was not a bus.. nor did it go anywhere. |
