The Jordanian jet has a telemetry pod (housed in an AIM-9 body) for use on ACMI/TACS equipped ranges. Not sure of the exact model tho.
The other gadgets could be cameras but they don't appear to be pointed at anything on the jet. But then again the GIB or the control center coneheads might be able to remotely gimbal 'em inboard. My first thought was some kinda towed decoy type of thingy, but ICBW. |

| Pointing aft as they seem to be, they could be used to make promotional photos of following aircraft, like the F-35. |

| That makes sense...I would think that is a good guess, they look like cameras that can possibly rotate but I too have not seen that specific design before, do they rotate or are they fixed? |

That's a URITS ACMI pod AN/ASQ T38B. It's not housed in an AIM-9 body. It's the same body as all ACMI pods. AIM-9L is 5 inches shorter overall. |

Ding-ding-ding! JW gets a cookie....
That was Jon Beesley and photog flying chase for Lt.Col. Kromberg's first flight. There should be some released photos coming out fairly soon. They got some nice shots - a couple nice ones looking directly back at the F-35 and some with it and an F-18 flying formation. |

| The pod on station 9 is a ACMI pod, the only other things on that RJAF aircraft is AIM-7 launcher on station 7 and a 300 gallon tank on station 5. |
