The old ones that didn’t swivel are a pain in the a$$ and we still see them to this day. You have to make sure all the slack is out counterclockwise before you can hook it up. What a pain in the ****, especially with 370’s up. |

The D-2s or as I like to call them the Straightes. Much better than the Curvesies especially for a little guy like me. I'm built like a toothpick but with the straightes I can push the hose with my thigh and twist that sucka on there. With the Curvesies it was always a show. The worst was if the fuel truck driver was a chick and came up and "helped" me (i.e. did it for me) which happened quite a few times. Every time that happened it felt like my Chingaling got smaller.  |

| I hate those curved nozzles. They don't work especially well with the F-16. Someone told me that they were designed for the F-18 because of where the "bug's" SPR is located. |

| The curved ones existed long before the F-18 was around. We very much appreciated the curved ones on the A-10. |

Straight fer sure!
Angled connectors have been around forever, we used them on the Phantom and they still use them for planes like the Herc.
Anyone ever see a double angled? We had 4 TAWC F-4s that had special test gear underneath. They needed a double 45 degree connector that didn't swivel. Ughhh. |
