Thought I'd place a few photos of "Heidi", show you her "insides" and out...she a honey and runs like a bat out of hell...the kids named her, from our tours in Europe (a couple of the photos were taken at the dealership in Germany during the purchase process).

Later guys...

Sigh...ya know I'm on about BMW like I am about my beloved Subaru. Their styling has just gone to complete crap. Have you seen the new WRX? Digads! Nice ride, but for me, make it an E30 M3 baby!

Dream on you young guns
This is what a real car looks like.
425Hp out of the factory and after a Holly 650 and headers with two inch side pipes she was putting out 550.
When I was overseas 72-76 my dad would drive it to work, he said to keep the battery up, but I think he just wanted to show off.
Oh and my mother hated it! Applause

Yep.....she was great...in her day Smile

Time to slide on over though....the "Herm's" are back in town and they brought some of their power prides (BMW 5 Series) with them...just to capture your attention.

Good thing about any of these cars (old and newer), they appeal to us all, different shapes, sizes and power, styling with comfort.

Nothing like being about to 'cruise" at 140 MPH and only be kicking out 4500 RPM and still have room to accelerate...that I will always love.

You gotta love them all...I know I do

Check out this beautiful 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible. This is my neighbor's car. He's now restoring a 2+2 (I forget the year but it's going to be cool)

I agree....very nice and it brings back fond memories of the "power muscle car days" for sure.

Alright, gotta change some of my old responses based on what I'm currently driving. Got a job after I got out of school and decided I want something a little more fun. I tend not to like the American philosophy on cars and would have problems affording some of the European stuff so Japanese it was. And being an engineer, just any car wouldn't do. Had to be something a little nerdy with some zip. Ended up decided on the only production pistonless car available Smile... the RX8. 1.3L engine with 232 horsies, hell of a lot fun to zip around in that little thing. I joke around calling it my mouse car since it's pretty small. And it was fun during the $4/gal gas thing this summer.

I take that back, Mazda might have another Wankel over in Japan but I can't think of any others in the US.

I just added the "big dog of BMW" to my stable of cars, today I purchased a BMW 750 LI and man does it ever run like a bat outta hell and it is so smooth...impressive is an understatement - it even has freaking night vision!

Very sweet ... as an old crew dawg, I thought you would have selected an "M" series with borla cat back, paddle shift, and EDC!

Nice ride Razz

Nothing wrong with top of the line 7 series, especially with nite vis!
I just recently saw a bad assed prepped M3 in Alpine White and I started to dream again!
I had an 88 E30 and a 93 E36 … very nice motors!
M3 is doable for me but not practical … like they say, “take life by the horns”
I just haven’t figured out how to dehorn the wife!
