| I've used it about a million times. I was management by the time the second edition came out, so I am not so up on that one, but the old one was just fine, as long as you heeded its limitations. |

We had those too, we found some were caused by the STA 5 matrix on block 25-32. And some were from a coax pin at the centerline disconnect, where the center pin was crushed and shorted to the outer shield.
We had to replace a number of these pins, about 12 or so for the fleet.
Did you replace your matrix or just replace the offending transformers? |

We use it at Shaw constantly. We have a 180 day MBFI inspection we implemented for preventive maintenence. We pull all out all of the weapons matrices and MBFI each one as well as the wiring between. It definitely has cut down on weapons related write-ups. We also have what we call an electronic phase where we ring out the weapons stations and run a WIT tester on our JHMCS systems (helmet cueing). Works like a champ! You know we are just trying to create a lean, mean killing machine!! |

This sounds like the same program we had at Homestead.
I was using the MBFI II, did they come out with a newer version yet? |

| I worked with two versions of the MBFI. We used it to shoot all sorts of wiring problems in manual mode. |
