Hey all! I've been to the site many times (and recommended it as a reference several times) so I finally "Signed Up"! I work on the Legacy & Super Hornets that come here to NAS Fallon to use the ranges and train with NSAWC (Top Gun). I got some Marine Corps time under my belt ( got out after the 1st Gulf War) but worked mostly as a Motor Transport mech back then. I'm sure some of you guys remember the jeeps, duce and a half's & Gamma Goats! Anyway, thanks to all that have made this a great site and I do hope to contribute something - even if it is questions! LOL Salute

Do you work for Boeing? I used to work Vipers and Hornets at Top Gun.

I'm really keen on becoming a Hornet Pilot for the RAAF. Your job must be really cool. Do you work on the Super Hornet or the original hornet? Its really awesome to see that more Hornets people are here.

Anyway Welcome all the same

Parkeran Salute

I don't work for Boeing, I'm active duty U.S. Navy. Although I do know a lot of the Boeing people - we go on det together sometimes. Yeah, my job isn't too bad - I get to work on both the "Baby" Hornets & the Rhinos. A lot of paperwork to work on both but I guess it's worth it. So are you looking forward to the RAAF getting the Supers, Parkeran??

Yeah that would be alright but not many people pay the super much respect. I really don't see the difference so longs as if we have something that flys.
