Here is a trip down memory lane. Starting an older F-16. Fun to watch for the non-rated people. Found this by accident. Was looking for something on jet fuel starters.

Kind of confused … that jet has a GE 129 in it? My Bad, it has a 110-100 in it as the RPM indicator is range marked at 106%

That vid's been around the pattern for quite a while. And it's only old if you consider Greek Block 30s old (which some are I guess...). It was done in a HAS somewhere on an Aegean island base. Pause it when the DED closeup shows the lat/long and look the numbers up on Google Earth.
VarkVet is most correct. You haven't seen old 'til you've seen the BUC check in the original coupe. |

| Damn I didnt like BUC cks on an engine run. Later when I taught F-16 engine run in the FTD it was a source of amusement. |

Now if you wanna talk old, how many of you (pointy-heads) remember having to put the Flight Control Test box behind the seat before you could run the Flight Control Bit?
