From my experience a six foot Swedish Blonde with a cleavage you can ski down normally succeeds in taking your mind off of most things.....

Laughing We need pictures to support your statement.

Meanwhile, here's the complicated wayon how you can get rid of mosquito bites:

Step One
Wash the infected area with soap and water as soon as you recognize that you've been bitten. Try to keep the site clean and dry until the irritation abates.

Step Two
Avoid scratching. Although a mosquito bite should itch for only a few days, continual scratching will increase your discomfort and may prolong the itching.

Step Three
Make a paste of baking soda and water, using just enough water to make the paste sticky. Spread the mixture on the bites.

Step Four
Rub soap directly on the bite. This is an oft-repeated home remedy for mosquito bites. Alternatively, use nail polish, toothpaste, mouthwash, vinegar, honey, underarm deodorant (solid or roll-on).

Step Five
Apply an ice pack or ice wrapped in a washcloth to the bite area.

Step Six
Use calamine lotion or a topical anesthetic containing pramoxine to help relieve pain and itching.

Step Seven
Purchase 1-percent hydrocortisone cream to alleviate the itching. Follow directions on the package for safe use.

Step Eight
Use an anti-inflammatory drug such as ibuprofen or naproxen to reduce any accompanying swelling or redness.

Step Nine
Take an anti-histamine like benadryl to help with any swelling or itching.

Step Ten
Do not rub skin, soak instead of scrubbing, and pat dry instead of rubbing.

Step Eleven
Use aloe vera gel to reduce swelling and itching. Aloe vera also forms a protective layer to reduce possible infection.

Jesus Whity! That remedy is just too complicated for me! Is there a pill I can take!! Cool

Seriously, I just got back from the Black Sea region and I never got touched, everybody else had huge chunks bitten out of them. The Mozzies just don`t like my blood I guess, I NEVER get bitten luckily, no matter where I go.

There I`ve done it now...probably a huge DC-10 sized bug waiting for me in some dark corner of the world with a picture of my a$$ in it`s jaws! Twisted Evil

I used to use a product called (sting ease), I think it is now called StingEZE. That worked pretty well. It used to be like a magic maker.

Witch hazel or baking soda might help some.

It is odd that a mosquito bite should bug you so much, if it keeps bothering you or if you get a temperature, rash or some other unusual symptom you might want to see a doctor and mention the mosquito bite. It could be the mosquito gave you a parasite or some other infection.

It seems silly but mosquitoes can be deadly, they kill more. People are more afraid of dogs, sharks, bears, snakes, ect…, but the mosquito injures and kills far more people.

300 million people are estimated to recently (year 2004) got malaria, 3 million estimated died.

The best thing is prevention:
Use soap that is perfume free. There are soaps that are made for people with allergies that don’t have perfume. Like “Tide free”. Don’t use scented hand, body or laundry soaps, or fabric softeners. In regions that have a lot of mosquitoes, these products can be very popular and easy to find, but it can be hard to find products like this else ware. Don’t use aftershave or deodorant, ect….

Bug repellant are great too. Deet is one of the best. I like 100% deet, though you have to be careful with it, some people are sensitive to it, and it is a solvent for some glues and plastics, it melted the buttons on my Timex. There is a lot of hype about the bad health effects of deet, sure it can be bad for some people, but your are far more likely to get sick or die from bug bites. There are creams that contain citronella that work great to, it one of the few things that stops some biting flies, like black flies that like to bite at ankles, esp. if you have black socks.

Wear long pants and sleeves with heavy material if possible. Like blue jeans. Try to wear white or lighter colors; dark blue or black seems to attract biting bugs. Wear boots that help prevent your ankles from getting bit. Cuff you pants over or into your boots, sometimes rubber bands can help keep your pants closed on you boots and your sleeves tight around your wrists so he misquotes don’t get inside your cloths. Sometime I use bandannas to cover key areas. The stupid looking mosquito nets that you can put over your hat and face, work well.

We heard a story once that Avon Skin O So Soft was good a repelling mosquitoes, my family went into a swamp with it on, and the bugs seemed attracted to it, we ran out of the swamp to get real repellant.

If you stay in the wind you will get bit less. For about an hour after / before sunrise and sunset the mosquitoes are usually much worse.

One of the more harmless mosquito parasites. I’m used to seeing blood and gore, but this makes me a little squeamish and my skin crawl even though it’s not blood and gore.

A liberal dousing of JP-4 would keep them away most the time...

Then again it would keep most living things away too. (Especially cleavage Sad )

Exclamation NOTE: this is not good for the person wearing the JP-4 either, skin irritation may result (among other BAD stuff) and tends to make the wearer flammable... Exclamation

OK, I really have gotten unlucky this vacation.

I have several problems including mosquito bites. I need to know how to tell it's a mosquito bite.

Yesterday I had 4 bites and i kept count of them. I never went outside in the afternoon or morning and today i have 10 bites. I think a couple of them are mosquito but maybe a couple are spider bites because some are bigger than others. How wold i get rid of these? And also i have gotten sunburn and need to get rid of it as well but i am in Aruba and cannot find any allo vera type remedies.

My third problem OMG is that on my foot there is a big black bump that I got from walking on rocks or something. So I tried washing the black off but its not dirt or something it is in my skin. Anyone have any idea how to fix these things lol?

Cutter seems to have bought the rights or has started producing a product that is similar to Sting EZE, it is now being sold under the name Bite MD. It’s good for treating the bites from mosquitoes, wasps, ticks, etc…. it can reduce the itching, pain and risk of infection.

I put Stoli, Standard, or any kind of Russian vodka on a mosquito bite. Just a couple of drops makes the itching go away and the bump and redness disappears shortly thereafter.

I love Russian vodka. Cool

Chew on unscented candle wax for 2 hours and then rub the wax on your bite.
