Welp, for one...this is for F-16 builds, not F-4s. However, I think we can give you some tips, as they apply to all models. First of all, what kit and what scale are you building?

Im building scale 1:144 and its a McDD F-4E Phantom II. Though I managed to finish it last night but I haven't painted it. Hope this helps

1/144? Which kit? Revell?

The kit is airfix.

Hmmmm..... Might want to try 1/72 or 1/48 next time. If you want to paint this kit though, brush painting would be just fine.
