130 is way too slow. In a jet with just a centerline and only 1200# of gas left, the basic approach speed is still about 155. Flying the staple is what everyone does. We compute an approach speed but it is just a rough number to make sure the staple isn't way off for some reason. The technique taught here at Luke is to hold 11 AOA and 2.5 to 3 degrees (I like 3 better) until halfway through the overrun, shift your flightpath marker to about the 1000 foot markers and cut the throttle to idle. I checked this in Falcon 4 and it works as advertised.
