Seven officers from class 12-BBC successfully completed the F-16 basic course and celebrated this momentous accomplishment with their families, friends, academic instructors and instructor pilots from the 62nd Fighter Squadron.

On a scorching afternoon in the skies over Luke Air Force Base, one F- 16 pilot reached a milestone few can claim in their careers.

The 148th Fighter Wing deployed approximately 300 members to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan over the period of August 5th-11th in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
There's something to be said for goals - whether big or small, they motivate a person to keep going, to take one more step when quitting would be so much easier. Sometimes, it's hard to tell if all this hard work will lead to something worth the effort. For Col. Kurt "Huevos" Gallegos, 301st Operations Group Commander, it's led to reaching milestones that only come with hard work and time.
