Israel's military police are investigating the theft of F-16 fighter plane engines from an military base in central Israel, with the military suspecting that the thieves had inside help. The F-16C/D 'Barak' jets were undergoing repairs.

On Monday Oct 22nd, like several times a month, the S.A.B.C.A. flight line crew successfully delivered an F-16 aircraft to one of its customer Air Forces. This time the Belgian Air Component received back a single-seater F-16, freshly upgraded by the highly skilled technicians of the company to the latest M5 Avionics standards.
Since the beginning of the partnership between the Department of Defense, NASA and Lockheed Martin, the Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System has evolved into an instrument intended to keep civilian and military aircrew members fit to fly and fight another day.
The 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group marked an important milestone in continuing to prepare the warfighter for tomorrow's threats as the first QF-16 drone arrived for developmental testing November, 19.

Aviano unveils first locally painted F-16

The 31st Maintenance Squadron unveiled Aviano's first locally-painted F-16 during a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new NATO-funded Corrosion Control Facility on October. 19, which will enable the squadron to sustain and extend the life of F-16 fighter jets and avoid costs to perform the task elsewhere.
Iraq has signed a contract to buy its second bacth of 18 F-16 fighters from the United States, part of a deal to purchase 36 of the jets to rebuild its air force, Iraq's acting defense minister said on Thursday.
Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $94.7 million contract to retrofit a dozen F-16 jets from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). The deal was administered through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio while work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas.
