 Colorado ANG F-16s participate in Eager Lion
Six F-16s from the Colorado Air National Guard 140th Wing along with more than 60 ground personnel took off from Buckley Air Force Base early Tuesday morning on en route to a military training exercise in Jordan.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress May 17 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Netherlands for the continuation of a CONUS based RNLAF F-16 FTU and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $191 million.
Emerald Knights graduate class 12-EBG

Lost over Serbia

F-16C Block 40
Lost over Serbia near Nakucani during operation Allied Force due to engine failure, which was caused by a nearby SA-3 explosion. The pilot, Lt. Col. David Goldfein, ejected safely and was rescued by helicopter. The tail is on display in the Museum of Warplanes in Belgrade, Serbia.

Callsign "Nosey"

It was a STOVL trial of a prototype F-35B not so long ago. He was uncomfortably close to the ground and coming in for a landing and the pilot threw his nose down to far. Luckily, he recovered and landed shortly after, but we still call him 'nosey' for that.
