Can you say where this location was? There were many F-16 crashes at Nellis when I was there from 79-83.

Dedicated Crew Chief Program
I traveled to the General Dynamics factory in Fort Worth TX Plant 4 on Nov. 3 1980, to inspect this aircraft. I was the first enlisted person to be assigned as the Crew Chief on this aircraft while stationed at Nellis AFB. For me this was an awesome experience. I still have my travel orders and other items that I was given at the factory. Myself and another crew chief who was there to insp. 79-342 where treated like royalty while we were at the factory.
