Delivered in the "Flogger" camo-scheme in 1989, as it - along with 88-0402, 403, 404, 405, were intended to join the 26 AS at Kadena AB, Japan replacing F-5Es. But with the de-activation of this unit in 1990 these above mentioned F-16s joined the 8 FW / 35 FS at Kunsan AB, ROK. A couple of them flew a short period at "Kun" in this camo scheme.
