A U.S. Air Force F-22A Raptor is refueled by a KC-135R Stratotanker over Alaska June 9, 2006, during exercise Northern Edge 2006. The joint exercise is one of a series of U.S. Pacific Command exercises that prepare joint forces to respond to crises in the Asian Pacific region.
