I was there for this mishap. It would have been late 1997 like Nov if my memory serves me right. It was a failure of the nose gear actuator. I watched the jet touch down and slide down the runway. Funny thing was that when they picked it up to put it on the flatbed, the nose gear lowered and locked into place and they towed the aircraft to the hanger! Took us a while, but we got it flying again.

Does anyone know the date of this mishap?
