Tailnumber

According to the tail number it should be 80-0538 instead of 80-0537. A little correction.

87-0322.

When the 432 FW flwe Block-30 F-16s they had initially both the 13 TFS and 14 TFS equipped with "Small Inlet" Block-30s. After the 36 TFA / 51 TFW at Osan AB, RoK, traded its "Big Inlet" Block-30s for Block-42s, these Block-30s went to the 14 TFS. From 1990/1 untill the Block-50s arrived in 1994/5 the 13 FS continued with the "Small Inlet" Block-30s and the 14 FS with the "Big Inlet" Block-30s.

Hey, its BOB!!

During an ONW deployment, the tanker boomers started calling it BOB, so the crews had the tail number altered accordingly. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/medicmanscott/Vipers/90-8082.jpg

This was a PACAF Cope Jade Exercise. Every a/c in PACAF (except the two alert birds @ Osan) were airborne & I was there that day . . . lead of the 3rd 4-ship (35TFS) to launch. The Wolfpack launched 49 a/c into a snowstorm (Col Bert Moore in the lead with Maj "Opie" Anderson in his pit). A SUPERB effort by the Wolfpack maintainers & an impressive sight to see. . . the ENTIRE 8TFW wing lined up on the parallel for the mass launch. I'll never forget it!
