http://www.148th.org/
little bit of what we are about, the 148th Bulldogs Virtual Fighter Wing is respectively
modelled after the true heroes, the men and woman of the real 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota
Air National Guard, Duluth.
Not forgetting the serving and non serving personel of the armed
forces around the world. The 148th BullDogs VFW was founded in November 2008. A single
person who had previous knowledge of how an online wing work's and a fundamental drive to
achieve the formation of a wing where virtual pilot's could hang and shoot the sh.t, fly with
others and build on there pilot skills or just fly various missions. The progression of Falcon 4.0
has always been a community spirited project even to this day and the 148th wants to add to the
community. The birth of the 148th BullDogs VFW itself has been aided by member's of the
community and other VFW's on the internet. I truely believe that a network between VFW's is a
positive step in the right direction. This does not diminish the competetive spirit between VFW's
and this makes all virtual pilot's strive to be better.
Through the internet our member's come from all corner's of the world to a common place where
the only pre-requisite to be a 148th virtual pilot is to fly as part of a team.

I'm not sure what year this patch is from but the 496 patch we had at Hahn from 1984 to1986 had a hooded Falcon resting on a gloved arm and a lightning bolt.

It's the Elementary Military Flight Education on board of the Pilatus PC 7. It's the RNLAF 131 sqn. Each class designed his own patch.

So far as I know it's a "joke" patch. The RNLAF 315 sqn never participated in Kandahar because 315 sqn is de-actived before the Kandahar story. Some former 315 sqn members made this patch forfun.

There is some misinformation here. There were actually only 10 of these patches made. I know this for a fact since it was the 388th TFW Historian that had them made. He was the one that gave me mine. I had also seen the receipt for them as well as the company that had made them.

Beautiful Patch
Beautiful Patch, sober yet impressive. Where did you get this picture? This patch belonged to a dissolved units created on 1990. It was a Venezuelan air-force combat command unit for surgical strikes, SAI and SAD missions. Started with 8 pilots from different Venezuela forces and apparently only finished 2 of them. The unit was dissolved in 1992 by Presidential Order after the coup. Do you know who owns this patch?
