Other Sizes

I have 2 other patches in my collection for the F-16XL and one is 3.5 inches in Diameter embroidered on Twill and does not have the Copyright Symbol. The other one is 4 inches in Diameter and fully embroidered. Interesting idea to change to a delta type wing on the F-16.

The U.S. Air Force Field Service Evaluation (FSE) program for the F-16 at MacDill AFB. More than 2,200 F110 engines have entered service since the original F110-GE-100 was introduced in 1986, and the F110 engine family now powers 75 percent of the F-16C/Ds throughout the world, including those of the United States, Greece and Turkey, as well as the Mitsubishi F-2 support fighter of Japan. Since the F110-GE-129 was introduced in 1992, 420 F110-GE-129 engines have accumulated 275,000+ engine flight hours.

From late 80's when unit was still designated as a Fighter Group. Patch was designed by the contractor crew maintaining the sims but was not officially recognized by the Tucson Air Guard wing. Comments supplied by Andy Hauke

I think this patch is for the F-100 engine of the F-16. I have a simular patch, in black and full color. With th e text F-100 - F-16 and the same picture. After contact in the US I' ve got this for an answer.
