I designed this patch in 1983 while stationed at VF-126 Ame-shop the initial quanity made was 200 and was all sold if you have any questions about this patch and the out of control spin patch i designed please let me know i still have original art work for them

The term "4 and 20" is a reference to the fact that when VA-45 was Re-established in 1951, flying Douglas Skyraiders, the Squaron's Aviators were 4 Navy Regular officers and 20 Reservists.
