343 M crewchief inspector

This patch was made by KENTORAMA (sole source of this patch). The very first of its kind.Other patches of similar design were ordered and made for other F-16 sqns technicians(many specialities).Sole manufacturer of these other patches (as shown in other sections) is SPORTLINE.

F-16 STAR

Be informed that this particular design was made by A.P.S. HIGHLANDER and KENTORAMA.If you find this patch made by other manufacturer, that is a repro(can be easily identified by its poor quality) as it is the case with several other patches(not only F-16 related)

genuine versions

The very first version of this patch was made by A.P.S.,it has more stars in the sky.The second version ordered has less stars(as shown) and it was first ordered by A.P.S. and later by Highlander.Sportline never received any order, nevertheless they produced this patch (poor quality repro) in order to sell it to collectors,be carefull!!

This patch shown was not manufactured by Highlander(he has actually made a much better version of this patch). It's poor quality indicates that it was made by Sportline!

Dianus Weapons & Tactics

Comments from Paul DeOude:- What I read about 'Dianus' is that in the 50's the Weapon Instructors got together and made a QWI 'society'. Since most instructor were from 323 'Diana' Sqn, they called this society 'Dianus'. If anyone (especially from 323 Sqn) knows more, please add.

Why the blank?

Comments from Paul DeOude: The Volkel base commander decided (80's) that patches had no place on flight suits. So many decided to keep the places on the flight suit "Intentionally Left Blank", just to sent a message :-)

F-16 Preventive Maintenance

Comments from Paul DeOude: Hangar 11 had two sections: Corrective and Preventive. Corrective to fix broken aircraft that would have taken too long for the squadrons to fix and Preventive (Inspections basically...) We were the best of course, so Sgt. Andy had these made.

343 M patch

Very few examples of his patch were made for the sqn,it was rejected as official type patch for 343M F-16C Blk 52+.Ordered and made by A.P.S. is now a very hard to get patch.
