310TH TFTS

This patch was from the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB Arizona. At the time I was stationed there, this was the sq. patch for the F-4C aircraft. In 1982, the wing transitioned to F-16's and changed the patch.

Didn't the F-16 come in 1992 to the 198th FS, around the same time the squadron renamed from 198th TFS?

That is a Viper AMU patch from the late 80's early 90's. All Maint. Units of the 57th Weapons School had names not unit numbers. I was assigned to the Falcon AMU right next door to Viper. Viper was home to the Red Flag Aggressors and they also conducted some testing. I agree that they were aligned with the 422.
