A static display of the YF-22 "Raptor" sits on the flightline at Nellis AFB in preparation of the 50th Anniversary of the USAF on April 9, 1997. The future fighter of the Air Force was on display at the air show. This is actually the YF-22 prototype number two which has a true serial of 87-0701 but has been given a fake serial of 86-0022.
