News: First JSF for The Netherlands rolls out of Fort Worth [2012-04-04]
The first F-35 Lightning II for Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNlAF) rolled out of the F-35 production facility on April 1. This is the latest step in the production process leading to its eventual assignment to Eglin AFB, Fla., later this year.
AN-1 rolled out of the F-35 production facility on April 1st, 2012. Flew for the first time on August 6th, 2012 along side american F-35 aircraft #AF-20. First flight by a Dutch pilot of any F-35 was Maj. Laurens Vijge with this aircraft on December 18th, 2013 at Eglin AFB.
