It collided with 85-1555 - "triple nickel" - from the same unit. -

I am stationed at this guard unit and was at work when the accident happened. It was a horrible day that nobody will ever forget. I went on the cleanup detail as well and it's hard to believe what a crash is capable of until you see the end results. I worked the site of Triple Nickle in which the pilot lost his life. I hope I never see another sight like that again.
