BAF F-16A block 10 #FA-29 is parked on the tarmac at Ostend airport during an airshow there in 1981. This aircraft has the distinct pleasure of being the one with the least flying hours of all Belgian F-16s before it crashed. It was delivered to the BAF on June 12th, 1981 and crashed on October 22nd of the same year after suffering an engine flame-out. [Photo by Dirk A. Geerts]

... yes, it crached that day during night flight... with 2 new main wheel tires I installed before the flight as crewchief... I didn't see my plane back... but was happy to see my pilot Roger sound and safe.
