    F-16A 75-0749

My name is Msgt Donald L. Graves. I worked on the F-16 test team at Edwards AFB in 1976-1980. Before it was turned into the XL 749 was our travel acft. I went with it to Eilson AFB Alaska for cold climate operational testing. We had an "Alaskan Horny Critter" emblem painted on the tail while we were there. It stayed on a long time. I was on two teams that took 749 to the Eglin AFB Climatic Labaratory to solve the problem of the intake strut icing. The last time I saw the acft she was still an F-16A. I had left by the time it came back as the XL.
