I noted from photos of the IAF F-16-D Sufa posted in this web site that it carries a larger drop tank compare to the standard one that we normally see.
Is this true? If yes, what is the gallon size of this new drop tank.
We've had them for years at Edwards. Back in 96 We did so more testing with them, mostly full load strains and landings. We alsao had them loaded when we were conduction the Elecetric (Yes, fully electric brakes!) brakes for Block 50. Man, they looked so weird.
The cool thing is that I will be able tyo use the 600 gal. tanks from one of my 48th F-2 kits for my F-16D Barak I started.
If it yanks, banks, turns, and burns, Crew Chiefs made it happen!
