Also I have heard Hahn AB referred too as
"Happy Hahn" which meant the complete opposite due to the sheer amount of exercises and deployments we dealt with...etc, etc, etc...
Nellis (Vegas) was loving called
"Loss Wages" from time to time....
"Mountain Hole" (was another I heard)....you guys are making me think now
"PI" for Clark AB (Phillippines)...
"Rocket City" for Danang, Vietnam (I'll never forget that one)...
The
"Stein", I heard that often for Ramstein AB, Germany
"Sleepy Hallow" used to Aviano AB, Italy (back in the 70's)...there are lots more... gotta think
Good idea to remember and name them

"Heath" for RAF Lakenheath, UK
"Bentover" for RAF Bentwaters UK (again 70's expression)
More than likely have "been there and done that at some point", it sure keeps you young if done correctly
