Hello "Boomstick" - try War Eagle sheet WED064. It has 86-0262 printed.

"Triple Duse" is a legend at Springfield. I know we still have the current one, 87-0222 (F-16), used to have a 222 A-7, and I think they've even had one with the F-100's. She has nose art and is called "Gravedigger", I don't think I have a pic of it, but could get one if you want it.

Thanks Adam. Yes I know all about the famed 222. I was a crew chief there for 2 years on the A-7D and F-16. The decals I have depict 222 as the "Mystery Machine Scooby Do style. Was this an actual scheme for this aircraft??

Hey Adam

PLEASE do post any photos of the nose art on this web site as we do not have any photos of 162nd FS nose art. Have any other aircraft been pained with nose art?

BTW - those are my photos of 222. I photographed it at Sprinfield circa May 1999. I photographed it on the ramp in the morning and then landing in much nicer weather in the afternoon. Actually think it was doing touch-and-goes. I was also hoping to photograph 262 as it has a kill and was the first big mouth F-16, but it was in depot at the time. I should come back and visit again sometime.

Boomstick, I did the research and provided photos of the Springfield jets for the Fox One sheets. I can give you whatever pics you need, both of "Mystery Machine", as well as the newer "Gravedigger" artwork.
