The two photos posted above by FlightDreamz of the F-35 in Alaska always makes me smile since there was a time where the "F-35 haters" where often claiming that the F-35 couldn't operate on Arctic conditions.
Then those two photos came up and I remember to have posted those same couple photos in order to shut some of the "F-35 haters" up
A 4th/4.5th gen fighter aircraft stands about as much chance against a F-35 as a guns-only Sabre has against a Viper.

@JetBlast16 Airman 1st Class Alexander Cook was able to capture a series of really great shots of the F-35 some of which while, performing at an airshow in Toronto where there was enough moisture in the air that the F-35 was creating a lot of vapor.
You can google around and find his photos here and there. Sometimes at https://www.af.mil/News/Photos/ or this example (sorry about the watermark)

I download/bookmark his pic's whenever I can. He's really a good photographer. My :2c: anyways...

Are you referring to the drag chute bump? It is removable and will be so on the Dutch variants but likely permanent on the Norwegian F-35A. There is plenty of info on the drag chute: GO BACKWARDS from here? OR Next One?

Norway may no longer require drag chute

Ah yes, thanks Spaz. The US roundels threw me off a bit.

Most likely a Netherlands JOTT tail.
