I saw that, but the angle and orgin of the shock waves doesn't look right. Should't be that straight around nose, and I don't know that pitot tube can generate its own shock wave. Of course how shock waves behave depends on a lot of factors. F-35's shape is quite different from that of T-38. I have no idea F-35's shockwaves should look like. Especally that around its Diverterless Supersonic Intakes. Would be interesting to actually see them in schlieren images.

Shots from "Flydagen", an annual air show at Kjeller AB, just a few 100m from our house. Was there, the noise was *brutal*. Weather sucked, but boy....:
