"A picture is worth a thousand words"

And the picture above shows that a single F-35C is worth five Super Hornets

Picture reminds me of a TLA (3-letter acronym) I learned from a former LM employee. "UCT: Ubiquitous Centerline Tank"

The GREEN MOUNTAIN BOYS - Big Shot - Vermont ANG F-35A
May 2020 Jim Haseltine

“The 158th Fighter Wing became the first Air National Guard (ANG) unit to receive the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II when it accepted its first pair of aircraft on September 19, 2019, at Burlington International Airport, Vermont. It officially welcomed the new aircraft to the resident 134th Fighter Squadron ‘The Green Mountain Boys’ on October 19, as it began working up to a fleet of 20 jets by this summer. The Vermont ANG has since participated in Exercise ‘Southern Lightning’ in Florida, and has conducted a number of high profile events including integration training alongside the F-15Cs of the Massachusetts ANG, which will be the subject of a forthcoming feature in Combat Aircraft Journal.”

What a slick looking jet...

Good to hear they're integrating with the 104th's F-15C's, responsible for the air defense of the Northeast. I hear and see them almost daily. They're old, tired airframes according to the maintainers - but still very capable. Provided the F-15EX comes to pass, the two units working together will be dynamite.

Missile trucks from MA, sensor suites from VT. Can't wait to see how they work together..
