“To mark the centenary of the formation of RAF 17 Squadron a unique line up of aircraft was assembled at Edwards Air Force Base. Seen here are a Sopwith Camel (replica), Supermarine Spitfire XIV and Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II, three of the types flown by the squadron during the past 100 years.” 19 Feb 2015
