Can anybody help with the following Viper. I have this F-16 in my collection but I can't find the full serial number anywhere. The NASA serial is 816.

So, let's here from you.

NASA #516 is F-16A 82-0976 (with the larger F-16C vertical tail housing)

NASA #816 was assigned to multiple aircraft at different times, a Vought TF-8A and a Convair F-106B.

NASA #516 was previously assigned to a Martin B-57B.

When I replied to this thread there were pics attached to the original request, they seem to be gone now. In those pics the tail (number) is at an angle, I'm guessing the 5 looked like an 8...

My apologies for that .... it appears to have been deleted accidentally from the filesystem, but I've been able to restore it from a backup. Sorry for the confusion!

nellis, dit you take that photograph ? If so, is it OK if I add it to the F-16.net photo library ?

:? First of all, sorry for the wrong name, so thank you habu2 and Stefaan,
no I did not take that photograph, but I bought it from aviationslides in the Netherlands. And the number on the tail is definitely 816.
I don't think they mind if you put the photo in your database.

Many greetings, but is the serial wright or wrong ?

Nellis.
