Sometime during the month of February 2004 a Belgian Air Component F-16 made a crash-landing during a training mission at Solenzara, Corsica (France). The aircraft involved was FA88.

The following information is known at this moment :
"The pilot had to make an emergency landing shortly after take off. During take off he had a master caution and decided to land immediately. There seemed to be problems with the brakes. The procedure in this case is the landing with the arrestor hook.''

Does anybody out there have more information (the exact date for example) on this mishap ?

Thank you in advance for you reply.

Best regards,

Laurent
