Since the 134FS 158FW Vermont ANG gave up their Vipers pending transition to the F-35A, I've been wondering where 86-0262 have been sent?
Seems that no online records like scramble.nl, joebaugher or F-16.net have any details on her whereabouts?

The old block 30's from the 134FS appears to be distributed between 113Wg 121FS, 177FW 119FS and potentially 187FW 100FS from what I've read, however no unit have "boosted" about having this MiG-killer in their fleets (yet)?

So, the big Q to those who know: With which unit is 86-0262 now? :P
Best regards
Niels

While yer at it... where did 86-0046 go? I got my incentive ride in it in 1990 while at the Kun.

They are - last jets left in March I believe.

Thanks for the replies, but I am honestly only interested in current information on 86-0262

Checked out inventory at AMARG and as of April 15, 2019 it is NOT listed there.
Neither is 86-0046.

I emailed a contact from the unit and he said he would get back to me. I was also told that the last 4 F-16s were split 2 and 2 between DC ANG AND NJ ANG.

I am also curious about both aircraft as I worked on 86-0262 when I was assigned to 178th FW at Springfield, OH and got my first incentive ride in 86-0046 at the "KUN".

I worked on 86-0262 at Spangdahlem (91-93) and I got my only ride in 86-0046 at Kunsan in 1990.

OK...what do hippos have to do with F-16's, specifically 86-0262? :bang:

I got a message from a crew chief with the Texas ANG he advised me that the jet is due to join the 149th Fighter Wing very soon but the aircraft has not yet arrived to join the fleet. So hopefully this might help out just a little.
